What Does my urine Test Result Mean? : RIGHT

I ve had a urinary track infection and was on antibiotics for 10 day. Went to doctors to make sure it was gone. When they checked in office it was fine but they sent the culture out to be analyzed and it came back with this:URINE CULTURE ENTEROBACTER CLOACAE COLONY COUNT:: 10,000 ENTEROBACTER SPECIES MAY DEVELOP RESISTANCE DURING PROLONGED THERAPY WITH THIRD GENERATION CEPHALOSPORINS. THEREFORE, ISOLATES THAT ARE INITIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE MAY BECOME RESISTANT WITHIN 3 TO 4 DAYS AFTER INITIATION OF THERAPY. TESTING OF REPEAT ISOLATES MAY BE WARRANTED. GRAM NEGATIVE URINE SUSCEPTIB. (ENTEROBACTER CLOACAE) AZTREONAM I m on a different antibiotic for the next 7 days. in 12 day I am having major surgery on my back and I am sure they will give me antibiotics for that also. I am already immune to penicillin. Will I be OK with other antibiotics or will I build up an immunity to them. And...will I be OK to have surgery?

Hi, I did review your concern.

Sometimes with use of antibiotics your body bacteria can develop resistance and give birth to resistant clone so it needs another higher antibiotic which eventually you got in form of aztreonam. i am sure you will be fine and you will do great in surgery if you have no fever and no active UTI.

i hope this helps.
let me know if you have any more questions or concerns.
I will be more than happy to help you.
Wish you a very healthy life ahead.
